Thank you for choosing TechStudio (PTY) Ltd. This Limited Warranty outlines the terms and conditions for warranties on physical goods purchased from TechStudio (PTY) Ltd Online (“Physical Goods”).
1. Scope of Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty applies to defects in material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance during the specified warranty period (“Warranty Period”). It covers the following:
- Repair or replacement of products or parts that prove defective due to improper material or workmanship.
2. Warranty Coverage
What is Covered?
- Any manufacturing defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.
- Repairs or replacements will be performed using new or refurbished parts, as per the manufacturer’s standards and service facilities, if applicable.
What is Not Covered?
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by:
- Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Accidental damage, misuse, or abuse.
- Unauthorized disassembly or repairs by parties other than the manufacturer or approved repair centers.
- Consumables and materials that have been opened or used (e.g., paper, vinyl, blades, ink cartridges, pens).
- Electrical issues, such as:
- Damage caused by irregular power supply, dips/spikes, load shedding, lightning, or defective electrical connections.
- Products not connected to certified power outlets with surge protection.
- Products not connected to a certified and maintained UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply).
- Faulty installation by unqualified electricians.
- Use of cabling not meeting manufacturer specifications.
- Incorrectly connecting equipment to live electrical outputs or existing wiring.
- Damages caused by natural disasters, riots, or similar events.
3. Warranty Period
The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from TechStudio (PTY) Ltd is determined by the respective manufacturer. Please refer to the manufacturer’s website or documentation for specific warranty information.
Replacement or Repair Warranty Period
- A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original item or a minimum warranty of 6 months from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.
4. Warranty Process
What Do You Need to Do?
To obtain warranty service:

- Provide a detailed description of the problem, including:
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
- Clear explanation of the defect or issue.
What We Will Do
- Assess the problem and determine the most appropriate solution (repair or replacement).
- Repairs or replacements will be carried out at no cost using new or refurbished parts, subject to the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty.
5. Recommendations for Preventing Electrical Damage
To avoid electrical-related damage not covered by this warranty:
- Use certified power outlets with surge protection.
- Connect devices to a certified and maintained UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply).
- Ensure electrical installations are carried out by qualified electricians.
- Regularly inspect and maintain electrical connections to ensure compatibility with manufacturer specifications.
