Thank you for shopping at TechStudio (PTY) Ltd. We strive to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. If you are not entirely happy with your item, this Refund and Returns Policy explains your rights and how to proceed.
1. Return Policy Duration
- Our return policy is valid for 14 days from the date of delivery.
- If 14 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused, in the same condition as when received, and in its original packaging.
- You must provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation).
Non-returnable items include:
- Gift cards.
- Downloadable software products.
- Certain health and personal care items.
- Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines.
- Products containing hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
3. Special Situations for Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may apply in the following cases:
- Books with visible signs of use.
- CDs, DVDs, software, video games, or vinyl records that have been opened.
- Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error.
- Items returned more than 14 days after delivery.
4. Refund Process
Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified via email regarding:
- The status of your return (approval or rejection).
If approved, the refund will be processed within 7 business days, and the amount will be credited back to your original payment method unless communicated otherwise.
5. Delayed or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company, as it may take additional time to process.
- Contact your bank, as there may be a delay in posting the refund.

6. Sale Items
- Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
- Sale or discounted items cannot be refunded.
7. Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged.
To initiate an exchange:
- Contact us at hello@techstudio.co.za.
- Ship the item to: Kulkoni SA, 7 Neven Street, eMalahleni, MP, 1034, South Africa (Mondays to Thursdays only).
8. Refunds for Out-of-Stock Products
If an item listed as “in-stock” is later found to be unavailable:
- We will notify you via email within 24 hours of your order.
- You will receive a 100% refund, or
- You may choose to wait for stock to arrive beyond the usual lead times, which will also be communicated to you.
9. Returns for Gifted Items
- If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the return’s value.
- If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will go to the gift giver.
10. Return Shipping
To return a product, mail or deliver it to:

- You are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable; they will be deducted from your refund.
Recommendations for Return Shipping:
- Use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance for items valued over R1,000.
- We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking information.
11. Operating Hours
We are available for returns and exchanges:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 08h00 to 16h00
- Fridays: 08h00 to 12h00
We are closed on weekends and South African public holidays unless otherwise agreed in writing.
